The National Reconciliation Congresses, which the Episcopal Conference of Colombia's Social Pastoral Secretariat has been convening for several years, are spaces where different social actors converge to reflect on issues of importance to the country from the perspective of reconciliation. In 2011, the Congress was dedicated to the analysis of three issues related to the search for lasting peace in Colombia that includes the victims: comprehensive reparation, land restitution and transitional justice. The three topics were treated from different perspectives: academic, political, religious and the international community.
