"Reconciliation and Peace in Colombia: Confidence-Building Developments and Continuing Challenges" provided a timely update on the co-sponsor work with key stakeholders from Colombia who continue implementing the 2016 peace agreement and confidence-building measures with counterparts in the FARC, while vigorously developing new initiatives with members of the ELN as 2018 unfolds. This event was sponsored by the Permanent Observer Mission of the Holy See to the UN, together with the Permanent Mission of Colombia to the UN, Caritas Internationalis, the Catholic Peacebuilding Network, and the University of Notre Dame's Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies.
