Raising awareness on how faith actors and traditional leaders can lead the way in the preservation and maintenance of Peace in the Sahel. This three-part workshop builds a common understanding of the drivers of violence in the Central Sahel context and discusses program and policy recommendations key actors for peace should consider in grounding their actions in the “triple nexus."
The series highlights promising faith-based interventions in the Sahel and allows audience members to engage and learn directly from implementers. The workshop series seeks to reconcile the academic and field-based understanding of the conflict while also putting forth strong recommendations for future action.
