The program assistant will work with the Catholic Peacebuilding Network at the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies at the University of Notre Dame on the Project on Revitalizing Catholic Engagement on Nuclear Disarmament. This project seeks to revitalize and strengthen the voice of the Catholic community in the debate on nuclear proliferation and disarmament by educating a new generation of Catholics—bishops, scholars, and students—on the ethical and policy dimensions or reducing and eliminating nuclear weapons. The position will work on planning, organizing, and conducting conferences, seminars, workshops, and student internships; researching, editing, and writing; and developing content for the Project’s site on the CPN website and social media.
