The Holy See Mission convened a special conference to examine the impact that the visit of Pope Francis to Colombia this past November had on the peace and reconciliation processes in the country. The event was held at the UN on October 20. Participants included: Archbishop Bernardito Auza, Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the UN; Amb. Maria Emma Mejia Velez, Permanent Representative of Colombia to the UN; Msgr. Hector Fabio Henao, Director of Caritas Colombiana; Joseph Donnelly, Head of Delegation, Caritas Internationalis; and Gerard F.
