The 31st Week of Peace, put on by the Social Pastoral of the Episcopal Conference of Colombia and Caritas Colombiana, is taking place this week. This year's theme is "There is life, there is hope, let's continue to color peace." Catholic leaders are focusing on support for social leaders after they have been increasingly under threat, and is also urging the continuation of peace talks with the ELN. The bishops' conference is offering a series of workshops so that parishes or other groups can participate in the week do their part to build solidarity and and foster reconciliation.
