The department for Reconciliation and Peace is part of the Social Pastoral. The Social Pastoral also coordinates Cáritas Colombiana, the Colombian branch of Caritas Internationalis.

Comisión de Conciliación Nacional (National Conciliation Commission)
An autonomous, independent entity covened in 1995 by the Episcopal Conference of Colombia that supports multiple efforts to end armed conflict in Colombia. Some of its main foci have been a negotiated political solution of the Colombian conflict, awareness of the respect and promotion of human rights, the importance of applying international humanitarian law, and the need to design a national and permanent state peace policy.

CINEP/Program for Peace
Founded by the Society of Jesus, CINEP began as a nonprofit in 1972 to promote integral and sustainable human development. The Program for Peace was started in 1987 to contribute to the creation of just and lasting peace in Colombia.
REDEPAZ
A network of movements, organizations, churches and individuals working together for peace in Colombia. REDEPAZ has a strategy for a project of Schools for Peacebuilders (Escuela Nacional de Constructores y Constructoras). These schools help cultivate knowledge, attitudes and values to develop and cultivate a culture of peace.
FICONPAZ
Since 1996, FICONPAZ has supported, in several Colombian regions, the social work of the Church and other institutions that promote the construction of coexistence, development and peace among citizens. FICONPAZ offers pastoral groups and community organizations the design and accompaniment for the implementation of training processes aimed at promoting a culture of coexistence and peace.
