Peacebuilding Topics

Because the Catholic Peacebuilding Network (CPN) works by empowering and serving local areas impacted by violence and conflict, different topics sometimes receive focused attention in the network’s efforts depending on needs and concerns that emerge from those different areas.  Additionally, different research areas receive attention as needs are perceived in the body of academic research on peacebuilding, development, and conflict resolution.  And in all its initiatives, CPN works to advance the application and development of the Catholic theology of peacebuilding.
