Catholic Approaches to Mining

Catholic Approaches to Mining to a joint research initiative between the Catholic Peacebuilding Network at the University of Notre Dame's Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies, part of the Keough School of Global Affairs, and the Laudato Si' Research Institute, Campion Hall, Univertsity of Oxford.

The initiative includes a guidance document for Catholic actors and leaders, Catholic Approaches to Mining: A Framework for Reflection, Action, and Planning, and a policy brief, Standing with the Vulnerable: Catholic Accompaniment of Mining-Affected Communities. It also includes a growing collection of global case studies showcasing successful Catholic engagement on mining from communities around the world.
